Israel Molinaire Castañeda

Professor Molinaire has been on the Matanzas scene for many years.  He was an investigador in Cultura Provincial in Matanzas and has built an organization to teach AfroCuban culture in Matanzas.  A prolific scholar, Molinaire has written extensively on the culture, including a piece on the cabildos in Matanzas. Scholars in the US who are familiar with Molinaire's work say that even though it is unpublished, it is of high quality.
