Yo soy del son a la salsa
Made in 1997 with backing from NY's Ralph Mercado, who formulated the word salsa to commercialize Cuban son. A soundtrack CD exists, and possibly a video, though we have no access to the video.

La soledad de la Jefa de Despacho (The Loneliness of the Woman Who Runs the Office).
Stars Daisy Granados, one of the definitive stars of Cuban cinema, has played many leading roles. A 1989 satirical short subject which skillfully made fun of the traps of productivist films and bureaucracy:
Roble de Olor
A love story set in Havana in the early 1800's, between a young woman from Haití and a German man. They create the largest coffee plantation in Cuba with a special philosophy of slave work and community. Romanticizes slavery.
